  • Ad*Access--The Ad*Access Project, funded by the Duke Endowment "Library 2000" Fund, presents images and database information for over 7,000 advertisements printed in U.S. and Canadian newspapers and magazines between 1911 and 1955.
  • AdFlip.com -- searchable database of classic print ads.  Ads are indexed by category, decade (1940s to current), and specialty.
  • Advertising Age--your primary source of news about the business of advertising.
  • Advertising Law --from Hieros Gamos, includes international, federal, and state advertising laws.
  • Advertising Slogan Generator -- an interesting way to start generating some marketing ideas of your own.
  • Coca-Cola Advertising Archives -- digitized by the Library of Congress, this site includes Coke ads, an advertising timeline, a brief history of television advertising, and information on the beverage industry.
  • Emergence of Advertising in America, 1850-1920 -- contains images of over 9,000 advertising items from 1850-1920.  The database can be browsed or searched.
