• American Fact Finder -- Census data right down to street address. You can design your own datasets. Excellent. Includes Economic data as well.
• American Religion Data Archive--a collection of both membership data for the different congregations, and an extraordinary amount of opinion survey data.
• Bi-State Regional Commission -- statistics, surveys, construction information, etc. about the Quad City area.

• Census 2000 in Map Form
• Census Scope -- presents census data in graphic format such as maps, charts, and graphs.  You can zoom in on a national map to get regional information.
• Center for Environmental Statistics is no longer available, thanks to a secretive administration, but here is the Homepage of the Environmental Protection Agency (which we hope is not an oxymoron)
• Changing America: Indicators of Social and Economic Well-Being by Race and Hispanic Origin--this collection of comparative statistical data from the Council of Economic Advisors was designed as a basis for discussion for the President's Initiative on Race. In Adobe Acrobat form, with downloadable software.
• Community Information by Zip Code -- statistical information on population, health, education, environment and business by zip code.
• Crime in the United States--the Uniform Crime Report from the FBI. Includes hate crime reports as well. Requires Acrobat to view.
• Drug Statistics--from the Indiana Prevention Resource Center, statistics on use and consequences of alcohol, tobacco, illegal drugs.

• Population Reference Bureau--this nonprofit, non-advocacy research organization offers objective data to policy makers of population trends and their implications.
